ABOUT THE PROJECT
Together for the Forest
The purpose of the Juntos pela Floresta (JPF) Project, conceived by Apsis Carbon, is to redefine the socioeconomic development model of the Amazon, using an innovative blended finance financial architecture, to enable the promotion of the forest bioeconomy through the generation of carbon credits from standing forests.
OPERATION
What do you propose?
The program proposes a financial architecture that remunerates traditional Amazonian communities for their fundamental role in preserving forests and their entire bioeconomy.
MECANISMO
Blended Finance
The sustainable and innovative blended finance mechanism aims to reinvest resources from carbon credits in the development of forest bioeconomy chains and in social demands, such as health, education and minimum income.
These are projects that combine the welfare aspect with private sector governance.
